Paula Dreyer has played at world class venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Green Music Center and with the Santa Rosa and Monterey Symphonies. In addition to teaching, she enjoys collaborating with various chamber ensembles and accompanying. Paula is a band member for San Francisco’s legendary show “Beach Blanket Babylon.” She is on faculty at the Community Music Center and is the author of the instructional books “Little Gems for Piano”. She has taught at San Francisco State University, Music at Maple Mount music camp, and privately in San Francisco and Montréal. She holds a masters degree in Chamber Music Performance and has studied music at McGill University in Montréal, Interlochen Arts Academy and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She completed an artist residency at Obras in Portugal, where she composed much of the music for Volumes 1 and 2 of the “Little Gems”. She has a real passion for composing unique, accessible and enjoyable music for beginners and loves sharing her compositions with students around the globe.
